The refreshment of Ford Mustang not only about its look, but also the technical sector to increase its performance and better driving. The 2018 Mustang gets new shock absorbers, a new cross-axis joint in the rear suspension which allegedly increases lateral stiffness and new stabilizer bars to further sharpen the car’s responses and handling character. MagneRide adaptive dampers are also available as an option for the first time. The rival of Chevy Camaro also equipped with Active Valve Exhaust System to adjust its sound from V8 engine.

For the safety feature, the carmaker put an active safety equipment named Pre-Collision Assist that packed various systems such as, Pedestrian Detection, Distance Alert, Lane-Departure Warning, Lane-Keeping Assist, and Driver Alert System.

Ford ditches the V6 3.7 liter because of its slow sales. So, buyer only gets an EcoBoost 2.3 liter 4-cylinder and a legendary V8 5.0 liter. Those engines are mated to manual and 10-speed automatic transmission. The manual now comes with a twin-disc clutch and a dual-mass flywheel which guarantee many torques. Meanwhile the automatic transmission Ford promises the faster shift than automatic 6-speed.
