Citroen CXperience Concept is Ready for Paris


Citroen just revealed its latest concept car, named CXperience Concept whic will make its world debut at 2016 Paris Motor Show this September. It’s a big saloon with hatchback-style at the rear. According to carmaker, CXperience Concept showing off if its current design language is implemented to a big and luxury sedan.

Combining its newest design language and the latest trend for concept cars, the concept car looks futuristic. Up front, the ultra slim LED headlights are placed following the engine hood design. The triple LED fog lights are bigger and ready to help you during night driving. At the rear, the exterior design looks busy with sculpted lines here and there. The C-shaped taillights are surrounded by C-shaped lines that comes from rear wheel arches.


Inside, Citroen announced that the interior is inspired by architecture, decoration and furnishings, the cabin of CXperience Concept is a work of clean, contemporary lines. To easier access, the French company removed B-pillar and featuring suicide doors in the concept car. The cabin shines so bright thanks to yellow color that you can see in the seats, dashboard, center console, and door trim. The company said that yellow symbolizes fresh and optimistic mindset. Meanwhile walnut woods are used for dashboard, door trim, center console, headrest, and backrest.


When you sit behind the wheel, you will see clean and simple design. A unique steering wheel is ready to take anywhere you want. In the center cockpit, there’s a 19-inch display which will show many information about the car itself, navigation, and entertainment. And for rear passengers there is a tablet that will allow them to adjust seats, climate control, and entertainment.


Citroen CXperience Concept is powered by petrol-electric hybrid engine. It can produce between 250 hp and 300 hp, and the car can be driven will all-electric mode up to 60 km. The powertrain is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. To add comfort during journey, the French automaker developed Citroen’s Advanced Comfort program using a new and innovative suspension setup with hydraulic cushion.
