2017 Chevrolet Trax is American Opel Mokka X

After Opel revealed 2017 Mokka X to the public, now it’s time for its sibling to show up. At 2016 Chicago Auto Show, Chevrolet introduced the refreshment of Trax. Yeah, the current small crossover is looking so old now. The changes are in exterior and interior parts.

2017 Chevrolet Trax now comes up with latest company design language that you have seen on latest Chevy Cruze, Malibu, and Volt. Up front, there are a new dual-port grille, redesigned headlights that now features LED Daytime Running Lights, new front bumper, and new fog lights replacing the old face. And at the rear, you can see the refreshment of taillights, and a new bumper.

In the cabin, Chevy has done some changes. Now 2017 Trax has company’s signature dual-cockpit design, with an upper dashboard hood that flows across the panel to increase perception of spaciousness.The crossover comes up with some interesting features, such as a new MyLink apps that will display on 7-inch touchscreen, Lane Departure System, Forward Collision Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Side Blind Zone Alert. Moreover, Chevy has added 10 airbags and rear-view camera as standard.

Unfortunately, there’s no change under the hood. 2017 Chevrolet Trax is still bring 1.4 liter 4-cylinder turbocharged producing 138 hp and 200 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to 6-speed automatic gearbox. The crossover will go on sale this fall.
