After get positive reviews from public and journalists at 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, Mazda has decided to adopt Koeru Concept exterior design to the next generation of CX-9. Yes, the Japan carmaker just released the first sketch for its full-size luxury crossover.
From what I see, looked like Mazda’s designers are so inspired by Koeru. At the front, we can see a similar design between the upcoming CX-9 and the concept version. But seems like Mazda’s designers redesigned its headlights, front bumper, added chrome accents on the front bumper, and added fog lights. According to Mazda, the three-row crossover is coming with latest KODO-Soul of Motion design language.
Mazda also announced that the latest CX-9 will bring latest SKYACTIV technologies. I expect more powerful and more efficient engines are coming right to the big crossover. 2017 Mazda CX-9 is set to debut at 2015 LA Auto Show this month and likely to go on sale next year.
