2016 Chevrolet Lova RV Breaks Cover

After releasing a teaser picture, Chevrolet recently released the official pictures of latest Lova RV. The company said that it was the only Recreational Vehicle (RV) in its class (even though it’s basically an MPV. But hey, that’s a marketing strategy). Furthermore, the carmaker also said that they targeted younger buyers who want to make the most of their leisure time.

The exterior design isn’t ugly and good, either. Up front, the car features Chevy’s identity, dual-port grille that now has 3D effect and surrounded by chrome accents. To add sportier look, Chevy’s designers give front lip spoiler. The headlights get Xenon that offers high-quality lights during night driving and it saves energy. How about the dimension? The Lova RV has 4,205 mm length, 1,722 mm width, 1,525 mm height, and 2,550 mm for the wheelbase.

From the side, we can see that B- and C-pillar has black color which makes the car look good. Meanwhile the D-pillar comes up with floating style to add more stylish look and providing a broad view for driver and passengers. At the rear, Chevy announced that it carried over the masculine styling of Camaro (seriously, where is it? I don’t find it!). Chevrolet has added the details, a sculpted line that sweeps away from B-pillar through the taillights. Meanwhile, other sculpted lines on the rear bumper making Lova RV looks muscular. In addition, the MPV comes up with another interesting features, such as 360-degree panoramic back window.

Unfortunately, Chevy hasn’t released the detail of specification yet. But reports said that it will have a gasoline powertrain 4-cylinder 1,5 liter producing 109 hp and 146 NM of torque. And the engine is likely mated to 5-speed manual transmission or 5-/6-speed automatic transmission. 2016 Chevrolet Lova RV will make its debut at 2015 Guangzhou Auto Show which will be opened on 19th November. Hope to see Chevy Lova in other countries (not only China), including Indonesia. The MPV is reported will be launched at the end of this year in China.
